Manatee Rescue
A baby manatee was spotted by the city of Tefé, Amazonas, alone. Its mother was probably killed by poachers, so researchers were called to rescue the calf. It was taken to Mamirauá Institute and was taken care of by veterinarians until being transferred to a rehabilitation facility.
